A Story to Learn!!!!

Three gals in their early 20s , who came from very conservative family of Rajasthan came to Delhi to participate in Green Job Fair of Delhi. They proved that education is not about studying in expensive college, its about learning from your surroundings. They proved that constraints are not barriers for anyone.

Shama, Sita and Shehnaz they attended the primary level school and learnt the parabolic solar cooker making from a German expert, who visited his village for some purpose. Now they have been the part of WOMAN BAREFOOT SOLAR ENGINEER SOCIETY, their village save about 10 kg of woods daily by their invention of solar cookers for their village. They train 100 people to make such kind of cookers in their village.

These girls know the real taste of success because it comes from lack of resources. They explained how their family resisted to learn and make such things. Initially they found so difficult to understand the German expert who came to village to taught them. It took them more than a year to learn this thing and meanwhile some time they ended up by burning their hands and poking themselves with wires but now they are experts in making solar cookers.

The cooker which they made was built in spring that rotated every three minutes and 23 seconds to change the direction of the solar reflector so as to receive the direct rays of the sun. The entire set uses 2.5 sq m and it takes a month to build one.
There were more than 5 villages in Rajasthan who who took cooker made by them.

We Educated Humans

We belong to the so called Metro cities of India and studing in one of the best and expensive colleges of India. We call ourselves an educated person who Learn from their mistakes, who teach others, who are educated enough to take care of his/her belongings but we hardly think about our nature, about our society, about next generation. We complaint that we do not have resources to sustain in future, we do not have energy to enlighten our next generation but we hardly implement any solution.

We call our self as an educated person but do we know;

# For every ton of paper that recycled, it can save: 7000 gallons of water, 380 Gallons of oil, and enough electricity to power an average house for six month.

"Educated persons thorugh such an expensive resource in munipality dustbin"

# WE can run a TV for six hrs on the amount of electricity that is saved by recycling one aluminium can.

"We drink bear and watch TV then through the CAN to the next door"

#By Recycling just one glass bottle, we can save enough electricity to power a 100 watt bulb for four hours.
"But we through the bottle as well as we power the bulb for more than 4 hrs unnecessarily "

Beware!!! The Doom Awaits

Capitalization in world,

fueled the economic development.

while luxury was born of leisure.

Gas, Coal and Oil pumped out,

rendering Earth a hollow globe.

Farms, fields and forests wiped out,

turning the green planet to color of barren brown slope.

Business growing with,

new inventions being developed.

Sensex rising,

fueled by Earth's bones and blood.

Mother Earth, harbinger of all life,

sustains all damages and still smiles.

Year after year, grows the strain,

Yet she smiles, yet she smiles, yet she smiles.

The day is not far,

when mother looses her power.

The day of end of this boon,

The day of all life's DOOM!!!
